SmartEd Services™ (SES) congratulates SMART Technologies™ on “20 years of touch.” Two decades have passed since SMART created the world’s first SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard. As SMART’s third largest “solution provider” in North America, SES is honored to help SMART Technologies transform the way people collaborate and learn.
Educational technology interest grew exponentially with the SMART Board’s emergence in 1991. Then, a leading presentation technology integrator, SmartEd Services’ parent company, Cleveland Corporate Services, Inc.™ (CCS), responded by establishing an educational division in 2003 to meet the specific needs of its growing academic clientele. Today, SmartEd Services provides technology solutions to education clients in a five‐state region.
SmartEd Services prides itself in delivering more than just hardware. The company extends beyond product placement to provide: integration services, on-call help desk professionals, professional development programs created by former educators on staff, educational technology conferences, and client care specialists available to guide clients every step of the way. To this point, SES operates the largest staffed, highly-educated, and experienced technical support team of any SMART Technologies vendor in North America. In addition to nearly a dozen technical certifications, and a significant number of instructional technologists with teaching experience, the company is fast approaching 200 SMART Certifications.
