SmartEd Showcases TAP•it at ISTE
June 24, 2011
CLEVELAND, Ohio - SmartEd Services exhibits its newly developed, interactive workstation, TAP·it®, at the world’s premiere educational technology event June 26 – 29 in Philadelphia, PA. International Society for Technology in Education’s 2011 conference and exposition (ISTE) attendees will see TAP·it’s “game changing” intended touch technology in action, in booth 509 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
The adaptable tool revolutionizes touch sensitive learning by distinguishing between purposeful and accidental interactions on 42” LCD panel. TAP·it’s platform and panel move and tilt separately, creating a customizable learning environment. This allows individuals with special needs to perform functions that might otherwise be difficult or impossible, in order to develop new skills and increase independence.
TAP·it supports shared occupational therapy and academic goals, making it a transformative tool for students and educators. It is compatible with any software used on a computer. Removing barriers and maximizing flexibility enables TAP·it to empower students to unlock potential. Please visit www.teachsmart.org/tapit to learn more and to view TAP·it videos.
