How to Buy
SmartEd Services helps educators make timely, informed technology purchases with confidence. To that end, our Regional Account Executives and Client Care Specialists are available to answer your questions by phone at 800.251.4077 or can be reached via e-mail by using the "Contact Us" form.
Request a Quote
Once you have decided on the products that fit your technology plan, your SmartEd Services regional representative will work with you to develop a "Quote Request." In addition to hardware and software, the Quote Request may include services such as installation, project management and professional development. After the Quote Request has been submitted, you will receive a detailed proposal outlining the products and services, prices, and any applicable shipping and handling charges.

Place an Order
After careful review of the Quote, and product specifications, your technology purchase can be initiated in any of the following ways:
Purchase Order
Send a certified Purchase Order via fax or email from your school or district signed by the treasurer or principal. To ensure accuracy in the purchasing process, we do not take Purchase Order information over the phone.
Prepayment
Mail a prepayment check via US Postal Service, made payable to SmartEd Services for the total amount, including shipping, along with a copy of your Quote.

Credit Card
Credit card purchases will be accepted via telephone, fax or email with a credit card authorization form. To submit your order or for an authorization form, please call 800.251.4077, and be prepared to provide:
- Cardholder name
- Credit card number
- Billing address and billing zip code
- Credit card expiration date
- Verification code (3 digits of Visa/MC/Discover and 4 digits for AMEX)
- Quote or item number
Additional Payment Methods
SmartEd Services' Gift Card
You can redeem a SmartEd Services' Gift Card by calling 800.251.4077. SmartEd Services' Gift Cards can be used only in the United States. Use your gift card to purchase anything sold by SmartEd Services, with the exception of another SmartEd Services Gift Card. The SmartEd Services Gift Card is subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Wire Transfer
SmartEd Services accepts bank wire transfers as a valid form of payment. If you would like to use a wire transfer to pay for your order, please contact us at 800.251.4077 for additional information.
SmartEd Services' Education Lease | SmartEd Services' Business Lease
- SmartEd Services offers a variety of Business Lease programs through National City Bank. Lease terms range from 12 to 48 months. Phone in your order by calling 800.251.4077. Your SmartEd Services Order Fulfillment representative can take your order and transfer you to a National City Bank leasing specialist to submit your application.Your application can be taken over the phone in minutes.
- Your order and application will be submitted, and your credit decision will be processed within three business days.
- On approval, your SmartEd Services' Business Lease will be faxed to you. Simply sign the lease document and return it via fax.
- Once the lease document is received, SmartEd Services will submit a purchase order to National City Bank on behalf of your school or school district.
