The Rear Projection SMART Board™ 3000i interactive whiteboard makes presentations come alive. Simply touch the screen to control computer applications, give presentations and navigate Web sites. To highlight material, just pick up a pen. You can write over any application or Web site, and capture, edit and save all your material.

The 3000i displays a high-quality, clear image. With an integrated projector and innovative touch system, the 3000i delivers both superior image quality and simple touch control.

The slim, tapered cabinet fits into a variety of settings and has space to hold your computer and peripherals. A side shelf and cables let you easily connect a laptop and control the image from the screen.

Features of the 3000i interactive whiteboard that differ from the 2000i include: a locking cabinet; True-XGA (1024 x 768) integrated projector vs the 2000i's standard SVGA (800 x 600) projector; unlike the 2000i, which is height-adjustable (a feature valued by elementary schools), the 3000i is set at a fixed height making it ideal for conference room and university settings; in addition, the 3000i comes equipped with a wireless keyboard and holder.

 

Features

Touch System
Digital-vision touch (DViT™) technology, developed by SMART™ (patents pending), lets you use your finger as a mouse and write on the screen – without any special tools. DViT technology uses cameras in the corners to track contact on the screen.

SMART Board™ Pen Tray
Optical sensors automatically detect when a stylus or the eraser is selected, while buttons activate the on-screen keyboard and right mouse click. Whisper-tip™ stylusesand eraser included.

 

SMART Board™ Software
Write over the top of any computer application, write and edit notes, and save everything in a single file. The numerous features include Notebook™ software, which captures annotations and saves your notes, SMART Recorder™ (Microsoft® Windows® systems only), which saves audio and data for playback as a synchronized file, and SMART Video Player™, which enables you to write over top of moving or still video.

Integrated Projector
True-XGA (1024 x 768) projector with custom-designed lens and 2,500 lumens comes installed.

 

SMART Board™ Super Screen
Diffusion screen significantly reduces ambient light reflection and glare, and delivers a high-contrast, uniform image with a wide viewing angle.

 

Laptop Support
Shelf and connection cables attach to either side of cabinet.

Audio System
Stereo-amplified speakers and volume controls on front of cabinet.

X-Port™ 20 Switch
Switches serial, audio and video from the internal computer to a connected laptop.

 

Projector Control Panel
Controls projector power, brightness and contrast.

 

Space-Saving Cabinet
Only 29 1/4" (74 cm) deep, the tapered, mobile cabinet fits easily into corners. Equipped with four locking casters and lockable doors. Optional video camera shelf also available.

 

Rack Shelving
Standard 19" (48 cm) rack allows for peripheral integration and storage in the cabinet.

 

Room-Control Module (Optional)
Integrates the 3000i with a room-control system, so projector, audio and source switching can be controlled from the system.

 

Connection Panel
Connects such peripherals as a second projector, external audio system, network, printer or other serial device.
