Purchase Policies Header

Purchase, Return & Refund Policies

 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase of a product, please call 800-251-4077 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within 30 calendar days of the receipt of the product. Products that have been configured-to-order or customized may not be returned for refund or exchange under any circumstances. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned to the SmartEd Services warehouse within 30 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 10% open box fee will be assessed on any opened hardware or accessory. If you purchased your order using a SmartEd Services Education Lease, you may be asked to provide a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) for SmartEd Services to assess the 10% open box restocking fee.

 

Please note: SmartEd Services does not permit the return of or offer refund for the following:

1. . Product that is custom configured to your specifications

2. . Opened software*

3. . Electronic software downloads

4. . SmartEd Services Gift Cards

Defective Items

If you discover what you believe is a defect in any SmartEd Services-provided product, please contact SmartEd Services Technical Support at 800-251-4077.

 

Custom-Configured Product

We are pleased to offer products that are custom-configured to your specifications, and we encourage you to review your order carefully. Since the product is built to your specifications, the order cannot be changed, modified, or canceled once your order is in production.

SmartEd Services Gift Card

You can redeem a SmartEd Services Gift Card by calling 800-251-4077. SmartEd Services Gift Cards can be used only in the United States. You can purchase just about anything sold by SmartEd Services, except another SmartEd Services Gift Card. The SmartEd Services Gift Card is subject to applicable terms and conditions.

 

Wire Transfer

SmartEd Services accepts bank wire transfers as a valid form of payment. If you would like to use a wire transfer to pay for your order, please contact the SmartEd Services at 800-251-4077 for step-by-step instructions.

 

SmartEd Services Business Lease

SmartEd Services offers payment through a variety of SmartEd Services Business Lease programs through National City Bank. Lease terms range from 12 to 48 months.

  1. Phone in your order by calling 800-251-4077. Your SmartEd Services Order Fulfillment representative can take your order and transfer you to a National City Bank leasing specialist to submit your application. Your application can be taken over the phone in minutes.
  2. Your order and application will be submitted, and your credit decision will be processed within three business days.
  3. On approval, your SmartEd Services Business Lease will be faxed to you. Simply sign the lease document and return it via fax.
  4. Once the lease document is received, SmartEd Services will submit a purchase order to National City Bank on behalf of your school or school district

Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the lead time provided, shipping dates may change due to changes in supply. If the lead time changes, SmartEd Services will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping estimate.

U.S. Sales Only

SmartEd Services sells and ships products only within the continental United States. No shipments can be made to APO or FPO addresses, United States territories, or addresses outside the United States. You may not export any products purchased at the SmartEd Services.

 

Sales to End Users Only

SmartEd Services sells and ships products to end user customers only.
